Hi guys good day to all of you!

Im a total newbie in terms of networking please be easy on me. I would like to ask help regarding the DDWRT setup.

My IP address is a static one, means my IP address will remain as is even if I restarted my modem.

I tried everything so far and I can't manage to get it work.

I'm using a D-LINK DIR 880L and here's my current settings in the DDWRT page.

Help would really be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

how do you set up your PC's when connecting directly to the modem?

You should use "dhcp" as the wan connection type.

Just because your wan ip does not change, does not mean you need to use the static ip wan connection setup.

My wan IP does not change either but I have no problem using dhcp as my wan connection type.

And.. I'm pretty sure you gateway is wrong.. Try DHCP

Unless your ISP told you that you have a static IP then gave you the IP number to enter in your router then its DHCP.

Also in the WAN gateway IP dont put your IP "192.168.1.1" this would be your own IP directing your outgoing request nowhere, just leave it blank and DD WRT will get it from your ISP
