Hello

I would like to use my linksys wrt1900acs with ddwrt installed as dhcp client (using ipv6).

Is it possible doing it with ddwrt?

The reason why I want to do so is to replace the router of my internet provider (fiber Orange).

To connect in dhcp to Orange I have to specify additional options to the dhcp client and I dont know how to do it.

yes DD-WRT supports ipv6
as well as your router is Marvell unit better ask for more details in its specific forum

i dont use ipv6 but its not rocket science to set it up
once you move to dd-wrt

I am on ddwrt.

Now I try the dhcp6 connection.

I read in some forum that if i want to get a valid ip from my internet provider I should add the following dhcp client options:

send vendor-class-identifier = "sagem";
option userclass code 77 = string;
send userclass 2b:46:53:56:44:53:4c:5f:6c:69:76:65:62:6f:78:2e:49:6e:74:65:72:6e:65:74:2e:73:6f:66:74:61:74:68:6f:6d:65:2e:4c:69:76:65:62:6f:78:33;
option authsend code 90 = string;
send authsend 00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:66:74:69:2f:*:*:*:*:*:*:*; ## replace stars with fti/"username" in hex

and then create a vlan 832 with priority 6 for the dhcp6 packets.

I will have to try and see how/where to define those dhcp client option in ddwrt. at first glance i didnt see it.
