Hi guys,
I want to install a chillispot hotspot,
I get all for the config, But i didnt understand the bridge/unbridge wifi.
So what i want is,
Got 2 wifi and a LAN.
I want to install the hotspot on the 2.4 GHZ to begin (therefore if it crash i got the other wifi while im repairing)
And i dont want the hotspot for LAN client.
So i think i should put my 2.4GHZ wifi on unbridge but what do i put on IP Adress and Subnet mask.
Got 2 network on 255.255.255.0 and the radius server said it has 255.255.255.255
Thanks

When you unbridge use anything other then your default IP subnet e.g. use 192.168.2.1 net mask 255.255.255.0

When you un-bridge the interface, it will be on it's own with it's unique ip sub-net. The IP address is entered on the interface.

If you want it to share the same ip sub-net with another interface, create a new bridge (br1) and assign the interfaces to this bridge. The ip address in entered on the bridge.

This setting do not have anything to do with Chillispot.
