Hi all , I have searched high and low but can't find dd-wrt firmware for the Cisco x3500 Router.
Any help appreciated.

It's a modem/router combo. Not supported. If your router is not listed here http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices it is not supported.
