Taken version of the driver does not seem to have integration with qos, but you can disable it if you are using qos by
echo 1 > /sys/sfe_cm/stop

It does qos, but only outbound and I can confirm outbound works a little. As far as I can see inbound qos is not supported yes.

what about this? http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/5875#comment:9

and since shortcut-fe was added r7800 gui loads so slowly, doesnt matter qos on/off, wifi or ethernet

httpd & wland are taking up the entire cpu

I do not see this issue here.

Regarding the driver, I still see nothing that indicates it does inbound qos.

it happens most when u turn on qos, then turn it off, especially loading the qos page triggers it. and when applying settings to turn it off, httpd crashed again.. after a reboot its usually fine until qos is togged on then off, after that it wont matter if its left off or turned on again, or the qca driver is disabled, has to be rebooted to get it back to normal speed

the qca patch feels like ddtb again, multiple random problems since it was committed

so far that qca nat patch looks pointless..it broke qos downlink completely, limits ignored. uplink still works but half isnt enough.

Sorry what qca nat patch? Can you share the changeset link?

Maybe I'm getting wrong, but what is simulated driver in that package for?

Anybody have issues with IPv6 with kong's latest build (r32590M)?

The WebGUI says I've obtained an IPv6 address, but all of my testing says otherwise.

Edit: Something weird is certainly going on. I just disabled IPv6, yet the GUI still retains the address...

Going to try the 6-5-17 build, as I have already encountered the WebGUI crashing...

What's interesting is that before I did a factory reset with the build, all seemed fine. I wanted to do one though since I was flashing from stock to DD-WRT. Done, and now I'm having issues...

FWIW, I am assuming the WEBGUI has crashed, since I cannot get the page to load on WiFi (phone) or Ethernet (desktop). Resulting in a blank page, and it seems some of the source code tries to load, but then abruptly cuts off.

Kong's r32590M still has JFFS2 bug, for that it breaks Privoxy, YAMon, etc..

This router hasn't been added to the router database although it appears in the list of supported routers and the link to its entry on the wiki appears to be broken. I'm sorry to ask here but it's the only discussion on this router I've found.

I've worked my way backwards through the last few pages of posts on this thread but have been unable to find what I am looking for.

Can anyone provide first time install instructions and recommended version for this router? The only thing I can find so far is the minimum usable version from the "supported devices" page. But that's a minimum, not a recommended. I can't find specific install guide for this router anywhere although I see that a "factory-to-ddwrt.img" file exists so I can imagine that the install is a two step process.

This might have been answered deeper in this thread, but I've read through a number of pages without finding it. Thanks for your help.

what..? Rolling Eyes

guess u havent seen much of this thread or forums over the last few days..

theres a new "feature" been added that takes shortcuts to get faster nat speed as u seem to know of, & its very broken, like the last time we tried a custom method of doing this (ddtb)..
