i desperately want to raise the xmit to 60 of my wrt54g v6 because i need to reach aprox 5 mtrs more to have a decent signal on my laptop.
is there any way of changing the xmit value of my router?, i updated it to wrt-micro sp2 and i couldn't do it with it

wireless / advanced settings
xmit = (max safe is 84)

this what it has been on mine (v5) i would assume that the layout would be the same for v6
