Having trouble connecting ExpressVPN with WRT1900AC (Kong)

Hello folks, I have a Linksys WRT1900AC, with DD-WRT , Kong build of DD-WRT from 2017. (DD-WRT v3.0-r31100M kongmv - 01/08/17).

My problem is the following, I follow the instructions for running ExpressVPN, via DD-WRT's OpenVPN client, to the letter, but can't seem to connect to the expressvpn's servers.


1. Is anyone else having this issue on a WRT1900AC-v1 , with Kong build ?

Is there something that I am missing to get it to work?

If you are entering everything as you said also make sure you don’t change anything that is not listed. For example, on the ExpressVPN tutorial page User Pass Authentication is not shown but it is included your build so don’t enable it.

I mean I downloaded the expressVPN firmware, and it works, however it does not work with dd-wrt kong build.

I am thinking of reinstalling with brainslayer and trying again maybe ?
