So i am still currently working on this. I am running v24-sp2 21061 mega build on my linksys e2500. I haven't had many issues until i tried to connect with my IPAD pro. I have other apple devices that don't have any issues. So here is what is happening. When i connect with my IPad all is good for about 30-60 seconds. After this the Ipad just kills the connection to the router and nobdody can use it until it reboots itself. I was using auto channel and then change channel 2 and 20mhz channel width. ack timing is 2000 ( i will probally disable this.) I think my issue was with the wireless security i was running WPA2 with TKIK, i have read that DD WRT likes the AES so i have changed to that. I will see if it worked. Also i changed my beacon interval to 05. Any other tips would be nice.

use N/G mixed, and yes WPA2 with AES.
Do not use auto and always 20MHz channel width.
If nothing helps use a more recent build 30880 is regarded as a good and stable build at least for E2000 and E4200, but research it for your particular router.

Always reset to defaults if you get a new build and put your settings in manually, do not use a restore.

21061 build has many problems plus very outdated.

Why dont you try a build from this year

Wiki says to use the 2106 build. I changed the security to wpa2 personal mixed but I'm using tkik&aes with no issues . All of my devices work and the build is stable for me now

The wiki says to use 21061 for initial flash, and that's just because it's what the Router Database lists, which should not be used except as reference for minimum build support. The wiki was also last dated over two years ago. Are you using this as a Gateway or Access Point? If the former, you should definitely use a newer build; and the latest build (33006) adds SFE for accelerated NAT.

Don't change Beacon, but you can reduce Ack Timing to ~200.

I'll have to wait to change it. I'm out of town again. For now the build I'm using is stable and works better than the linksys firmware that was originally on it .
