Optimum DIR-868L Router

Hi all,

I just picked up an Optimum DIR-868L router for $5, but the problem is, whenever I goto 192.168.1.1, it takes me to router.optimum.net and I have FiOS.

What's the easiest way to get stock firmware or DD-WRT/Tomato (I would prefer stock)

I did some googling and found some people had been successful in doing this through puTTy and ssh which I am not too familiar with it.

Could someone possibly guide me in flashing this router with stock or dd-wrt/tomato firmware?
