Would guess that it runs fine for you. The wireless drivers for the 1900ac have been good for awhile now. I did try the latest on my wrt3200, but the drivers were still the buggy ones. They pull off of Openwrt which has not had much love of late. Most of the devs joined LEDE. |
It works fine for my usage, just that the 5GHz is not as strong as LEDE, most likely due to older drivers. Nonetheless, the only device at home that use 5ghz constantly is my Nexus player at the other end of the house but it stream HD youtube and HD content from my NAS fine, so I'll just leave it.
I did ask Gargoyle about LEDE and he told me they are working on a new build that will be based on LEDE.
Personlly, I prefer LEDE over DDWRT or even Gargoyle but I am a lazy person, LEDE David's build is updating like 2-3 times a month and that mean I have to flash 2-3 times a month. |
