internet light not amber even if internet is down - r33345

router: linksys wrt1200ac v2

running with latest release (r33345), however the internet light would always turn to white not amber even if internet is down.

any settings that i may have missed causing this?

There aren't any settings for the LED display in DD-WRT, unfortunately.

In order to isolate a firmware bug or hardware issue, I would suggest trying a different build. New one out today.
At least then you will know what side the problem us on.

Also, try unplugging your modem completely to see if that changes the status LED.

Hi, thanks for the inputs. I'll check and try the latest build to see any difference.

My connection was down for a few hours today and it’s the same for my current build - 31924.
The amber LED does come on during reboot.

It may just be something that wasn’t included in DD-WRT Firmware. I had never really noticed until now.

yes, internet light does turn to amber when being rebooted but once done even if you've unplugged your router from the modem, internet light would remain white when clearly there is no internet connection present.

i tried booting to stock partition just to double check, internet light does go amber when there is no internet connection

i guess i'll hold with the latest build for now. i'm thinking of submitting this to the tracker..
