I have a Linksys wrt1900ac v1 but it will not do what I need. I have Centurylink fiber and Prizm. I also have a synology NAS. I run a business from home but travel alot and need access to the NAS.

The Technicolor Will Not Port Forward and let me do all the other setup that I need. I would also like to do VPN, if possible, but that is not a deal killer.

I would like to get recommendations on the best options for a router that has the best dd-wrt firmaware on it that would help me address my problem. MANY thanks in advance for any advice and believe me, it will be greatly appreciated. I have been beating my head against this wall for 4 months.

Thanks

I do not have experience with FTTH, but the problem is vlan tagging see: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=300259&highlight=calix

This makes it difficult to use a broadcom based router. Maybe an Atheros based router like a Netgear R7800 will do the trick

I hope someone with a comparabole setup can help you
