Upgraded from Admin screen with no issues; no reset required. Up and running for 24 hours now with no apparent issues; performance good. _________________ ASUS RT-N66U running DD-WRT v3.0-r33525 big; Windows 10 Desktop; Win10/Ubuntu 16.04 LTS dual boot laptop; Ubuntu 16.04 Desktop; 2 Synology NAS servers.

Reset: Yes, 30-30-30 before and after update
Issues/Errors: Works great, but cannot use "Mixed" mode if wanting to change wifi channels on wl0 (2.4 ghz). Using "NG-Only" works great. Have not tried other modes.
Edited to update info after suggestions by jwh7 to fix issues I was having in original post.
Will be edited again later with results from additional routers.

Issues/Errors:
Can't access over HTTPS (see below);
time reset to Jan 1 after reboot (known issue);
can't set MTU to 9000 (hardware restriction?)
Thank you for your diligent work! Upgrading from 2.4 r29739 to address the Krack issue (and some perceived stability issues with Apple gear). Upgrade went smoothly, and initially I was able to access the device over HTTPS - somehow this stopped working shortly after the update (reboot doesn't fix it); every so often the below will appear in /var/log/messages:

After a reboot the time appears to be reset to Jan 1, and I cannot seem to increase the MTU on the ethernet interfaces or bridges (although this may be a hardware restriction?)

Issues/Errors: semi bricked the device. Luckily the Asus have a recovery mode and I was able to put it in that and then flash the firmware from 10/10/2017

Everything works great except the 2.4 ghz network (using wl0) is stuck on channel 1 and occasionally 1+3. Changing wifi settings does nothing to correct this.
Did you try changing Wireless Mode? I had this issue on my E1500 when set to Mixed; NG-Mixed fixed it. _________________ #NAT/SFE/CTF: limited speed w/ DD#Repeater issues#DD-WRT info: FAQ, Builds, Types, Modes, Changes, Demo#

I did not. I only tried changing channel, width, and extension channel settings. I'll edit my first post when I have time to try it again.
