|
Hello All,
I have a Linksys WRT54GL that I am using within my home. My home automation system is running a script which queries the wireless nodes table to see if either my iPhone or my wife iPhone is present on the network.
The problem I am having is often when my wife iPhone leaves the network it still shows in the wireless client table and a reboot of the router is necessary to correct this.
what I am wondering is, can I run a script that will check if our phones are on the network and clear them from the wireless nodes table if they are not?
I am running: Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) std, Build 14896 |

just go to : Setup>Basic Setup>Client Lease Time> choose something like 30 min or any time that you'd like...
in general in wi fi client list it stays for longer but if you click on LAN and see active clients it wont be there if away...so no problem with that...it stays in wi fi list just to help with connectivity if it goes on/off too often but if you specify a time it will all clear out the lease _________________ Atheros

Thanks for the response @Alozaros, however by changing this setting it forces all of my devices to renew their IP at the same time, this seems to make all devices temporarily not available on the WIFI which in turn is causing my presences script from the HA system to turn out the lights and lock the doors every ten minutes.
Any other thoughts on how resolve this? |
