I can confirm here too that the newest firmware does not work on the AC68U. The 10/10 firmware is okay.

The 10/17 AC68U firmware that does not work:

I can also confirm the 10/17 AC68U firmware did not work for me.

Good-day Gents!

I'm currently running a Linksys WRTSL54GS with firmware DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) mini-usb-ftp - build 13064. I've looked through the list contained in: ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/10-17-2017-r33525/

However, I don't see my router listed. Is it no longer supported?

Thanks for any help,

Anyone know if there is a Kong build that includes the fix for a Linksys WRT1200AC V2? I've attempted navigating his FTP site here: http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/TEST/?C=M;O=D

but have no clue which one I should use or if it's even available. If it does exist, I will need the "factory to DD-WRT" image as I like having the stock firmware on partition 1 to revert to if needed.

Kong does not support the WRTXXXX series any longer. He stopped supporting them around Jan/Feb this year. You are going to need to install the BrainSlayer build

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/10-17-2017-r33525/linksys-wrt1200acv2/

I am running this on my WRT1200AC v2 with no issues.

What wireless settings are you using? I am getting very slow transfer speeds to my NAS on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

Dont try the 10/17/2017 build on an Asus RT-AC56U. It wont boot. You will need to put it in recovery mode and load the 10/10/2017 build.

Well, I did not try that. But, anyway, Kong's build 33525 works perfectly on RT-AC56U.

Hi there,

I have a DIR-615 D2 (Ralink) running a fairly recent dd-wrt:

Router ModelDlink-DIR615 rev d
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r33006 std (08/03/17)

Can I do an in-place upgrade to get this patch via the web interface without 30/30/30 resetting?

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks.

N.B: I've cross-posted this as I wasn't sure where this question belongs. (http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311819) Please feel free to delete if it's in the wrong place.

That is a tricky question and open to debate Smile
If you did reset with 33006 and then have put your settings in manually, you might get away without resetting.
Just try it and if it is not working you can always reset.
But this is only my opinion.

Yep I did a full 30/30/30 before and after I applied 33006 and then set it up manually. Will it be a case of it'll either work or not or do more subtle problems occur?

The patch at http://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/33525 does seem pretty restricted to the WPA subsystem but I'm guessing other stuff has gone in too.

When I do a search for my router (Linksys E1000 v1) I find the following under that router in the database.

dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_e1000v1.bin with a date of 2017-09-07

Since it is not dated after 2017-10-10 I figure that it has not been updated with the KRACK update.

Will this be updated in the near future?

I've looked through the list of routers contained in: ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/10-17-2017-r33525/ and can not find this router.

Any help on which (if any) file I should use would be greatly appreciated.

Think I might have found the answer myself by continuing to look.

Was just going through the 'additional information' link for that router and found the following:

Firmware version 33555 dated 10/20/17 runs on this router and is the second version that has the KRACK vulnerability fixed in WPA2 it is available here - tmittelstaedt 10/20/17

and links to the following file https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2017/10-20-2017-r33555/broadcom_K26/dd-wrt.v24-33555_NEWD-2_K2.6_std_nokaid_small.bin

so I guess I will give this a try.
