Hello i have an WZR-G300N with the stock firmware (the buffalo) and it doesnt works very well, for example, a lot of times, the iexplore says that it cant connect to a web page, but if i press F5 to refresh it does it at the instant so i want to change the stock firmware for the dd-wrt one, i have use the search option but i didnt found nothing that would help me, i saw that the only 300n that can be flashed are the 1.0 not the 1.1, so, where i need to see if my 300n is 1.0 or 1.1? i have searched in the case and in the firmw and i didnt found anything. and if it is 1.0, what firm i need to install? this one: dd-wrt.v24_mini_wrt300n.bin ? Sorry for this questions, but i dont want to have a paperweight instead a router Shocked . Thanks for all. Regards.

I think you are confusing two different routers made by two different companies.

The Linksys WRT300N

The Buffalo WZR-G300N

Did it to what?

Do you have the Buffalo WZR-G300N or the Linksys WRT300N.

Also, after telling us what model....what firmware did you load to make it work.

sorry for the confusion, it is a BUFFALO WZR-300N and the firmware that i used is dd-wrt.v24_std_generic.bin RC3, and i used the tftp linksys program to flash it, its works well, but the green wifi state led is not working.

Great info....let the developers know about it. Open a ticket on the developers svn site...see if they can add support for your LED.

[EDIT] - this is done through telnet

It's probably just a GPIO setting for your particular router. They may request some info if they don't have your model to test.

gpio enable/disable 1-14

Try them one at a time

if you enable one then disable it when before you move on.

exa....
gpio enable 1
gpio disable 1
.
.
.

See if you can determine which one is the LED in question. They will want this info.

If your router reboots...then you found the gpio for the reset button.
