I was wondering if it is possible to add an L7 pattern which I made myself to my running dd-wrt router without having to rebuild and upload the firmware.
I tried making a l7-protocols/protocols dir in the /tmp/etc/ directory, but that didn't seem to work. Maybe it was a silly idea, or maybe I did something wrong.
I'm asking this because it's kind of a bitch to rebuild the firmware everytime I need to change the pattern, because I'm not sure if it works in the first place.
