Hi,
Well first time trying a 3rd party firmware and so far it rocks.
I loaded v24 beta 8/15/07 micro build on my WAP54G v3 with success. Threw me for a minute when I couldn't communicate with it, but eventually sorted that out.
Currently the unit receives its WAN IP address over the wireless which is WEP encrypted. I then have my own SSID which rebroadcasts on my own subnet with WPA. I have the LAN port plugged into a 8 port switch and that services my local lan devices and my vonage phone adapter.
My phone even works, that was suprising. Xbox360 works too with full open nat. I did enable upnp in the router.
Going to hook up a cantenna type antenna to it next to see what else is out there in the wild.
