I tried to find the post in the forum, but I can't.

A while back there was some talk here that the size-limit could be broken if some of the flashing-procedures would be modified.
This of course only for a router with bigger flash like my Premium, an old WRT54-GS or the WRT-350N.

Such a version could contain all the features that are now in separate versions like kaid, VoIP, OpenVPN and full USB-support.

How feasable is it and will such a version be developed in the near future?
If not, what is the reason?

If flashing through the command-line is the only way, it shouldn't be a problem...
I prefer to flash that way anyhow.

I have been praying for a "mega" version for about two years. I ended up doing it myself with the firmware modification kit. Worked fine with v23 SP1

Simple.

The major amount of people here couldn't use it.

Now this has changed to some degree with thew routers coming out but its not likely to happen tell v24 is done.

But, (for instance) Eko.
Is a mega firmware just a new compilation with different options or are there some hurdles to be taken?

If it's not that difficult, please make a Release Candidate for it, so we can test it and have one in the first final version.....
