When I slected to use both HTTP and HTTPS for remote GUI it has now locked me from getting in. It now says access denied based on Access Control List...Can I not have both enabled?

also is it better to have a computer run my OpenVPN or the DD-WRT router?
I'm kinda at a crossroad as to which to choose.

thanks everyone!

I don't believe you can have both HTTP and HTTPS enabled for the WEBGUI access.

If you cannot get in, you should be able to telnet/SSH to the router and disable those options. Though the command to do so eludes me atm.

As for the VPN....Depends on your current networks setup and how busy the router is.

I would say, power wise, its always better to have the VPN done on the router. But if the router is always at high Capacity then you should move the VPN to a Server. But thats just my Opinion.

U know that if u enable HTTPS then u need to enter the router with HTTPS:// instead of HTTP://

If https://192.168.1.1 or whatever Ip u assign to the router doenst work then reset it to factory defaults...
See yah..
