What do you mean?
There are mainly two categories of ip-addresses, routable and non-routable.
10.x.y.x, 172.16-31.x.y and 192.168.x.y are non -routable and used "internally".
DD-WRT based routers:
- most likely the router has on it's internal interface 192.168.1.1. (gateway)
- It's WAN IP is most likely a routable address. _________________ Firmware: DD-WRT v24 SP1 std
2xWRT54GLv1.1
2xWRT54GSv1.0
1xWRT54Gv2
In need of WRT54GS <= v3 EU/UK for firmware-debugging purposes. Buffalo's are welcome too! PM me if you have a spare one.
If you do not even understand the concept of Routable/non-Routable IP addresses, you should seek a professional to setup your Dual-WAN.l
Before you go and mess with anything on your network (Private or Business) you should understand the basic concepts of the TCP/IP Stack and IPv4 Addresses. And Know the 7 Layer IOS Model.
So, when you come to forums as these, you can use proper Terminology and it will make it easier on the Regular Forum Users. We are all willing to help, However to certain extents.
Go from there. _________________ "You think you´re real smart. But you´re not smart; you´re dumb. Very dumb. But you´ve met your match in me. "
