I have just upgraded [arg] to a LINKSYS WRT350N.
I am plagued with issues.

After 8 hrs of Linksys customer [gag} Support I have decided to get a 3rd party firmware.

I believe that thisis the one that I need.

But which one do I choose?
And wil it support Wol over the internet?

Thanks for your help

First you need to update the firmware with the 'mini' version of dd-wrt specifically for wrt350n. Then you can install the 'generic' version (std, voip, vpn whichever you want) of dd-wrt. Be sure to reset to factory defaults before and after each flash. You need to do the 'mini wrt350n' first because that is the only one the original Linksys firmware will let you upgrade to.

First of all, what version router do you have (check the bottom)? Only the version 1 will work with DD-WRT.

It is a version 1.

I could not identify where the "MIMI" firmware is.

I am not using the voip or vpn.
Whcih one is the STD and will that support WOL over teh internet?

Click Downloads -> Release Candidates -> DD-WRT v24 RC4 -> Generic Broadcom -> dd-wrt.v24_mini_wrt350n.bin

After that you should be able to flash it with dd-wrt.v24_std_generic.bin
Be sure to reset to defaults afterwards.
