hello folks.
i need your help with the connection watchdog.
first of all, i setup the WDS/Connection Watchdog to ensure i'm connected to the internet (running in client-mode) and if the f*nera looses its connection (wan) it will reboot. i am understanding right so far? or is the WDS/Connection Watchdog only for use with WDS?
now i have two questions:
1) is it possible to use google.de as an ip-address to ping? in other words, is the watchdog able to resolve it with dns?
2) how do i specify more than one ip-address? comma seperated? it would be nice to have several ip-addresses listed to ensure that one ip-address could be down and the f*nera doesn't think that the whole inet is down (lost wan connection).
thx for your help _________________ 7x La Fonera 2100, 1x NanoStation2 Loco

Does it work ?
I have the same probleme, i would like to reboot my fonera (repeater) when it looses its connection.
Do you know the difference between Proxy connection watchdog and Wds connection watchdog ?
I notice that in Proxy connection watchdog we can only enter ip address.
never used the proxy/connection watchdog, but the wds/connection watchdog works like a charm. you can specify google.com for example in the ip address field and the device will reboot if it's loosing its connection to the internet (or google.com in that case).
i'm more interested if i could add more than one ip address to ping to ensure that the device only reboots if several urls are not accessible anymore - also google.com could be down sometimes. do anybody know something about it? do i have to comma seperate several ips and will the device only reboot if all of them are unavailable? BS, do you have any ideas maybe? _________________ 7x La Fonera 2100, 1x NanoStation2 Loco
