For anyone who want to compile dd-wrt from source, I'm sharing my dd-wrt build scripts and patches here.

Althrough it's mainy for PHICOMM K2P(Ralink MT7621 based), should also be useful to others.

NOTE: the Makefiles and patches are highly optimized for my router, so don't expect it to work for your router without modification.

Could I pay you to compile a custom kernel for my Asus RT-N18U? Smile

I heard that non-disclosable special instructions were needed for Broadcom chips.... which is why I don't wanna do it myself. Well, it's not as open as the standard Linux kernel.

No, an NDA is required to access the private code repo (driver_repository) AFAIK. Or, wait until BS merges things from it to the public repository. There isn't any other special anything unless you were thinking of sir @egc's GitLab stuff. Would be great if folks would use this and information from OpenWRT to figure out patches to add device support, but I don't see that happening Rolling Eyes Arrow

Maybe that's why I got Youtube playing problem in a recent DD-WRT build... Smile

Hopefully in the near future, I could compile my own DD-WRT for Asus RT-N18U very much like compiling a normal Linux kernel. But it's been decades I compiled Linux kernel the last time, things might have changed.
