Converting VLANS from startup commands to WebUI

Since we now have had a real working WebUI for setting up VLANS for a while now (Setup/Switch Conf), I have often wondered why when clicking this tab and enabling it, does it not parse the current configuration and reflect that in the GUI. Why not query the current configuration and make the GUI reflect the settings that are currently in operation? Should not be too difficult I would think.
Edit: Or maybe just add a button that updates it to the current working configuration.
