Update:
Somehow I got the firmware back to default. I can view the summery page. It made me re-entered my user and password, but I am unable to log in after that.
What is really confusing is that the video and the instructional pages do not match the firmware offered. Many of those options you need to check or un-check are not there.
I still can't figure out the settings for both devices.
Sounds as if you are not on the current release, and if not, then either use your best judgement or update the firmware. It could also be that since it's a micro build, those options don't exist. Of course, it would be better if you provided specifics so we're not guessing. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

I have these two Linksys devices, and my understanding is that they are capable of transmitting a dedicated Wifi and receive it. They are both found in the database.
Linksys WAP54 v3
Linksys WRT54GS v4
Any advice, help, or instructions? Which one should be close to the internet source, and which one should be close to the designated device?

Here's some dots to connect for you. Please consider using the current release, especially if you have skills to de-brick if things go awry. You may be able to use the WAP54G as a station for the single client (or use an unmanaged switch for multiple wired clients).

Or maybe try clearing your browser cache, use CTRL+F5 (Shift+⌘+R on Mac except for Safari) /
use a recommended portable browser in private browsing / incognito mode... _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
