the qca9886 is a qca9888 in fact. just the consumer variant. anyway. the attached firmware should fix the board calibration data. the log showed clearly the cause _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Yeah, the qca9886 is what it it uses for 5ghz access. I don't know if this is a regression issue, but that Trac report does seem to suggest that the 9886 did work at one point.
It is presumed that the first two were in the previous test firmware.
The previously noted ticket was not for a MIPS-based device, it was for an x86 PCI card. As already stated, it should be fixed, just need verification after flashing. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Yes it finally worked. thank you for everything. Frankly, I wasn't sure about writing my problem. I have used ddwrt on different devices for many years, but I am new to the forum. I didn't expect you to respond so quickly for me. You truly deserve respect. Thanks to everyone who contributed.

with the next official relase i made also a special hack the difference between qca9888 and qca9886 is also that qca9886 has no 160 mhz support. i made a special hack which should allow to use 160mhz on these chipsets too. but since i dont have the device i cannot test it. would be good if you can check this. so check the attached fw, which already contains this modification _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Hi. Installed and tested. The wireless tab is back. 2.4g works. but 5.8ghz does not work. Some red errors appear in syslog. I added the syslog file.
you flashed back the wrong firmware. (the previous one) but not the one i provided _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Sounds like a Mac to me.." - Louis Rossmann https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL_5YDRWqGE&t=60s
Let me see, there is software everywhere, I may have installed it wrong. The download folder became software everywhere. I will download and try again..
