With previous DD-WRT routers, I always opted to have the client lease DB stored either on NVRAM or JFFS.

But I had to opt out of either option with my Netgear WNDR3700 V4. For whatever reason, the router was assigning TWO local IP addresses for many of my network components. This caused many problems, esp. if I had to reboot - it would take over 20 minutes to successfully do so!

As soon as I opted out of client lease DB, the router & all networked items work fine, and any router reboots take less than a minute.
