I recently updated to R55209 and I would like to add a wireguard connection to PIA. I do not know if this is possible, I even think it is not, but if it is can someone help me?
If this is impossible, I want to add an OpenVPN but none of the guides I tried (official PIA for r44+ and other sites) work. It keeps reconnecting but doesn't even get a list of IPs from the service, all I see is 127.0.0.1.
If possible I want wireguard so I can also use my gaming consoles and online PC games.
I have searched the forum, nothing helped. If someone has the time to do a step by step. I would be very thankful

If there is a setting available for a service (it is because pia WG exists, including for Linux) and the device supports it (it does) then there should be a way to configure it. But the question is, how .
I'm not a great supporter of proton, the email is the best currently available but they log far too much for the price they ask and it's worse on the free service.
WG also works with PIA (kind of) but, when key changes it doesn't update and you have to do it manually...at least that was the trouble, i remember when i tried it.....or i didn't do it wright

There must be something wrong in the config with re-keying. I remember that is used to work well. I only know one person here that tested PIA and that is ecg but he is offline. He helped me set my router last time and it worked very well with WG.
This time I can't even get ovpn to work on the router haha

On normal OpenVPN it does not resolve the DNS.

The rest of the log is some warnings about not using TCP without a password and trying to connect to 127.0.0.1
