Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.

Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Debug Analyze: strace tcpdump.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

ksmbd: error while processing smb2 query dir rc = -22

This causes connections refused or software caused a connection disconnect or invalid argument.


This happens in Linux and Android devices. Even trying to browse the smb://192.168.1.1 in Linux. Sometimes I can connect and see the shares most of the time it throws the invalid argument or software caused a connection disconnect or refuse.


Can someone compile me the version with this ksmbd or roll back to this to see if it works better?

The best build so far is the r54682. No issues with SAMBA or this error comes up and everything works just fine.

I even don't try the new Builds as long as you get the Samba error.

54682 has some problems with NTFS-Shares, but much better than all builds after that one.
