Hi, I am a complete novice but would appreciate a little advice.

I am in China and using a main router which I cannot access its settings. I have connected a Linksys router to it and changed its firmware to dd-wrt in order to run the Astrill VPN app. Everything works ok but I read somewhere that I should disable the DHCP in the Linksys router.

Can anyone advise whether I should turn it off or just leave it as it is.

Many thanks

Bob..

You should not disable DHCP, your DDWRT router is/should be on its own subnet with its wan port connected to the lan of the ISP router.

As far as we know Astrill does only work on outdated DDWRT builds.
What build are you running?

Latest and recommended build is 55416
