Here is another one for you. This is a pair of ethernet controllers on a ITX Geode based MB (MSI Fuzzy LX800). The eth0 or eth1 presently do not show up on an ifconfig.

This is PCI-Express card, but that shouldn't make any diffirence? (as it is shown on the lspci list normally).
EDIT: If I also put an Intel 82541PI (normal PCI) NIC inside, then the new 82572EI starts to work!! lsmod shows e1000 module loaded this way... But when I remove again the normal PCI Intel and start up, no e1000 shows up in lsmod...
And obviously new PCI-Express card works too with e1000, so this one should be easy one to squash?

It would be pretty cool if you could add this one for me, thx :)
Nevermind just needed to load the e1000 module -- maybe you should add this card's info to the autodetect scripts so it loads the e1000 module automagically.

Hello,
I have two 3com cards they show up in lspci as;
01.01.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3CR990SVR95 [Typhoon Server 56-bit] (rev 02)
01.02.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3CR990SVR95 [Typhoon Server 56-bit] (rev 02)
Neither are detected at boot. If I run "insmod typhoon" then both start running.
Thanks, Nick

for ar5513 i have found MIPS driver from dlink di-624m router
this link ftp://ftp.dlink.com/GPL/DI-624M/DI-624M-Src.tgz is the open source SDK for D-Link DI-624m MIMO router (contains atheros driver)
this the dir atheros
ar5513_drv.o ar5513_main.o ar.o atdi.o
and this is the README
Code:
#Atheros Thin PCI driver README file.
1. Compiling the driver:
Change Makefile "KERNELDIR" variable to point to your linux kernel.
2. Loading the driver.
#insmod ./ar.o mode=tx
NOTE: Run "ifconfig eth1 <ip addr> up" after loading the driver
successfully.
3. Unloading the driver.
#rmmod ar
can some one reverse engineering this MIPS driver?
