. If the number returned is less than 9 it means that your router is too old so it can't broadcast two ssid's with different mac addresses. Some devices will be able to pick up both irregardless however it is possible that yours won't. As far as I know there is no workaround for this.
If you use a VINT build, you will be able to set up one virtual interface. It won't have a different MAC Address, but it should work fine. _________________ WRT54G v3 - v24 r14471M NEWD Eko - AP

VINT builds use an older driver that is more compatible with your board than the new one is. Load this image and your second interface should work fine. _________________ WRT54G v3 - v24 r14471M NEWD Eko - AP

V2 firm will work perfect on V3 router? Are you sure that is real safe?
Thanks for your help!
Broadcom images are not device specific. The image I linked to will work on the v3. Where did you get the impression that that image was for a v2? _________________ WRT54G v3 - v24 r14471M NEWD Eko - AP
