Hello all,

Thanks for the support in this great 3rd party firmware. I am having trouble with two items using DD-WRT on my WRT54G v8.2 router:

-DHCP will not assign addressing to client bridge connected devcices.
-No internet connection from items connected to the client bridge.

If I can get a static address to access the internet from the client bridge side, I would be happy!!! I just want my Tivo to record and have content again.

I've got a Motorola SBG900 Cable/Modem/Router connecting to the internet. I want to leverage the wireless connection between this device and the WRT54G v8 router running DD-WRT. I've followed all of the settings from the forum. Disabled wireless security and cannot get across to the internet from the client side.

Cable combo device is 192.168.0.l
computer connected to cable mode 192.168.0.17
WRT54G 192.168.0.5
Tivo connected to bridge static 192.168.0.16.
Computer connected to bridge static 192.168.0.2.
XBOX 360 disconnected for time being (hey I recently moved)

I can ping all local network devices both sides of the router. I just cant get dhcp, or to the web from client side only.

Please help,

Connected to my neighbors wide open WRT300N with same instructions. All is working like a charm. It must be the Motorola SBG900 cable/modem/wifi router. I've ordered another WRTG54 series router to hopefully resolve my problems here with my setup.
