I have an ADSL Router set to Bridge Mode (Meaning you can create PPPoE connections from your PC of VIA the router web admin. The ADSL Router is pluged into the wrt54gs v6 Internet Port.

Before I flashed my Linksys WRT54GS v6 to dd-wrt I was able to make PPPoE connections from my pc, but after upgrading to dd-wrtv23 I am unable to do this now, I can only create a PPPoE connection from dd-wrt web admin.

I have noticed that I can create PPPoE connections from my PC if I plug the adsl router into a normal LAN porn on the wrt54gs and not into the internet port, but then dd-wrt can create a pppoe connection from the web admin.

Is their a way to configure dd-wrt to allow pppoe connections from a wired pc, and also allow pppoe connections from the web admin?

Thanks

if you wanna to make your LAN PC have PPPoE dailup , router need to turn on PPPoE reply fuction .ther is no PPPoE replay fuction for ddwrt v23 micro edition.you need to flash it to v24.

i;m using v5 , and experienced unstable with v24 (both sp1 and sp2), finally goback to v23 sp2

now still finding a more stable build. (my wrt-54G v5 reboot/halt with five to ten time a houre with v23sp2 , for v24 ....even crash in the webadmin page after bootup a few minitue without any P2P applcation running ! i have tried lot of setting to make it more stable , one key is to stop the webGUI auto reflash , it help a lot , the NAT Max connccureent port & timeout or CPU clock =216Mhz seam not helping any )

i will tried v23 sp1 tonight if it's will better are not.

Also only a few ISP offer more than one login as the same time , please check with your ISP .after the first PPPoE connection established , other dial-up attempt will got unauthorized reply.
