1. You check the EKO folder daily For new builds.
2. You have a special tool just for doing hard resets.
3. You know where that special tool IS right now.
4. ....Because you hide it.
5. You actually have an opinion about the differences between Eko builds and BS builds....and you are quite willing to argue about this.
6. When you see Shawn360 as the last post, you know what he has said.
7. You can spot a "posts=1" noob without looking to the left of the post.
8. You expected this post to mention peacocks.
9. Your wife falls to sleep while you are on this forum.
10. You know the difference between the peacock thread and the catfish thread.
11. You carry a spare jtag cable in the car....just in case.
12. You have, on occasion, bricked your router...just for fun.
13. You know why the ball in my avatar has three holes in it.
14. You have watched youtube videos on flashing dd-wrt, and have a favourite.
15. You buy routers just to see how dd-wrt runs on them, and have a favourite.
16. When you see someone has a bricked router, you ask them to send it to you.
17. You come to this forum....for the humour.

(please add more)

Disturbing hidden message, or coincidence?

You decide.

But before you decide, you might want to ask Donny if he is "pulling an all nighter".

Thank you for your concern.

PS: please note that this is post # 69. But that's just a coincidence.

18. You do a daily browse to http://192.168.1.1, not because you need to change anything - only because the interface is so beautiful to look at.

You feel a need to flash at least 1 router per day, even if the changelog has no bearing on that particular hardware
edit: and when its 10am in europe and there is nothing to flash....you just assure yourself that soon it will be uploaded

24. You leave the case off your router, so the jtag terminals are easier to get to.
25. You carry pictures of router motherboards around, in your briefcase, even on trips.
26. You try to explain this thread to someone...and can't understand why they DON'T get the humour.
27. When you see someone mention SP1 you think "eewwww...yuck!"
28. You know when Barryware regained employment
29. and you were happy about it
30. ....until you found out he could post from work!

Take the cover off for JTAG and Serial access???....never thought of that...I just cut a hole in all my cases Laughing

If you purchased a computer that is dedicated to JTAG setup only.

You get to know all the forum members by their first names

You buy how-to (XXX for dummies) books just so you can help other forum members.

One more.

You use "Warning: I'm "out of my element!" " in your signature

When you have 3 DD-WRT boxes in the motorhome, 2 in the bedroom, 3 in the living room, 1 in the kitchen and you "need" more.

when you have a DD-WRT folder in your Favorites with more entries than your WRBS ( Work Related BS ) folder

When you can load DD-WRT on four '-TMs and 30-30-30, set passwords and configure SSH management and JFFS while watching a half hour sitcom.

38. You time your flash/config with a stopwatch, to see if you are faster this time...and are disappointed if you aren't.

39. You start taking German classes, so you can browse the other forums too.

You begin to cry when you brick one of your babies

You feel the need to "go have a beer" when you flash your routers Laughing

You spend your Birthday money to get that dream router Embarassed

You create multiple dd-wrt forum accounts within weeks of each other and each has 1500+ posts already.
