I have a bullet 2 that I just installed and activated dd-wrt professional.

dd-wrt works on it fine, except for the fact that I have no wireless interface.
Is there some setting I must enable to get the wireless interface?

I am running firmware "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/22/09) std (SVN revision 11498)"
But according to the Supported Devices page I need "Bullet2 - v.24 preSP2 - Build 11495".
How do I install the correct version, or does the wiki need updating?[/url]

i'm not an authority, but since most routerboards outside SOHO seem to require the "commercial" version of FW...i checked & the wiki probably needs updating for the ubntB2...i would try to look under the "Ubiquity" DD-WRT FW url at "http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv3/dd-wrt/downloads.html"...it seems that this is the version to use for the ubntB2...if Sash gets time he might chime in...cheers...;-}

The part about the versions was just a side note.

My actuall problem it that there is no "Wireless" tab or configuration options that I can see

Ok, the wireless now works.

Is there JFFS2 support on these builds?

@BrainSlayer

I understand your financial model, but is there any way you can give us a price break on DD for the bullet ?

we can get a bullet2 here for US$39.95,

whereas a DD-WRT activation for it is US$25.49

that's a software cost at 63% of the hardware -- I don't think that's what you really intended

I totally understand for a $200 "professional" device paying 12% additional for DD-WRT software, but the cheap bullet really doesn't fit that pricing model, does it ?

u wont have to pay the vat outside the eu so it would be usd 21.12.
the second is to get in touch with the shop for the volume license program.

ddwrt is not responsible for the price handling of ubnt Wink so i think there is no other chance right now. maybe bs or chris can give some feedback

$21.12 is still exorbitant for a $39.95 radio, if you consider that the non-"professional" version is free for other brands of routers that cost 4 times as much.

Chris mailed me and we're talking, but I still think this is upside-down.

ubnt serves professional users, even if they have low price devices. ddwrt will be free for consumer devices. if u will make profit with it there should be no problem on paying on licenses. u must understand that the ddwrt/newmedia-net guys must pay there rents, too
