Hello,
Thanks for this wonderful firmware. I tried it on my Netgear WNR834bv2 and it's working great.
I would like to try it on my Asus wl-320ge but am afraid of bricking it because it isn't listed in the support DB.
So, does anybody know if it will work?
Thanks in advance.

Take a look at this thread.

Maybe it will help.

Try this build.

Maybe it isn't a 4M Flash chip...try the micro_generic build instead.

Actually, you found mini_asus.trx....there is no micro_asus.trx

So...good point...which one to use. It looks to me that "AndreyPopov" just used the regular .bin file....but he states using the standard build...if he only had a 320gp unit that might explain it...his post does not indicate that he had a 320ge but he stated the 320gp/320ge in his title. That might be what comes up on his status page after he loaded it....so...that said

the 320ge might not have been flashed successfully yet....you could be pioneering new ground...so be careful. The Supported Devices page does not have the 320ge listed...so you could easily brick this unit.

Use at your own risk at this point.

If you don't care that much and want to attempt to flash the unit....I would start with micro.bin file and go from there.

I found this at OpenWRT...this unit does have a 4M Flash chip so it could take an std build.

How can i know if i should use eko's v24 svn builds or the regular v24 ones?
I tried dd-wrt.v24-11650_NEWD_mini_asus.trx but the unit refuses to upload it. Confused

Just for newcomers some dry info:

I run dd-wrt on WL-320gE without any trouble, i've chosen 12548 NEWD build. Unit has 4MBytes Flash and 16MBytes RAM so no trouble with normal builds.
WL-320gP should also be 100% OK.

As far as i rememeber i did initial flashvia tftp.

The ASUS firmware restoration utility is the best way to go as far as flashing their routers. It's foolproof. I know my 520gU came with the CD, so the 320 should as well...?
