Dont know where else to post this to make it known quickly. There is a user going through and erasing pages on the wiki. Check the edit logs, his work is becoming substantial.
EDIT: This happened earlier today, and has since sparked up a new topic. If you wish to join, this thread is still open. Just let it be known that the malicious editing has, as far as I am aware, ceased... for now.

It happens two or three times a week when Jeremy Collake drives to a new neighborhood and gets a different IP address from his neighbor's WIFI. The new IP will be blocked and the WIKI restored from the backup. _________________ http://69.175.13.131:8015 Streaming Week-End Disco. Station Ripper V 1.1 will do.
He does have some reasonable arguments...
But there's no excuse for this hooligan-like behaviour... _________________ Asus RT16N + OTRW

I agree with the majority of his viewpoint.
I do not believe it is right (or legal in the case of the GPL) to take other peoples' work (that is published under the GPL, or a variation of), add to it and then charge for the finished product. He may have started the project, but DD-WRT is what it is today because of the work of many, many other people who volunteer their time to develop it, brainslayer included.
However...
This is not the way to accomplish anything, and it is childish. If there have been violations of the law, as he claims, there are legal ways to ensure the development of DD-WRT complies with the GPL. Maliciously editing the wiki hurts those people who this project is intended for; the general public. It does not affect brainslayer, who his arguments are mainly directed towards.
I will gladly donate to support the development of DD-WRT, as I realize it costs money to run a site like this, but I will not pay for a license on software that is community developed. Especially when the money from the license goes into a single individuals pocket, instead of back into the community where it belongs.
This is a matter of legality, and personal philosophy. One's opinion is one's own prerogative, and I am open to hear any of yours.

That is because you don't know what yer talking about. None of the open source portions of DD-WRT are encrypted. You can modify and re-use them as you see fit. All you have seen is the spin from a greedy ass-hat who has no class. Maybe this thread will help you understand...

I still agree with the principle of what he is saying, however I'll admit his opinion isn't founded. Thank you for taking the time to enlighten me on this.
