i was able to flash a wrt54g v2 (corerev=7) successfully. however wireless is not working.
Correct....Eko reported this already...that is why he was stating that NEWD2 should be run on corerev greater then 7 only....My understanding is that the 4712 (and older) processors can't run NEWD2 in its current build configuration....corerev 9 started with the 5352 processors.

Looking for more test units (newer models) for the project...got a brick?...PM me to make a donation. (USA) A donation is not a debricking service....it is a way to "Give back" to the dd-wrt project.

Here is the link to the correv thread, where people's reports of the correv of their router, and info on how to obtain it, are listed. In case anyone needs that information.
Am I right in stating that just because there is a correv >7 doesn't mean that newd-2 will run? People still need to check this thread against their router model? Right?

Most definately....just because it is greater then 7 doesn't mean it will work.
I spend an entire day bricking/recovering routers in testing which ones will and won't work.
The GL, 350N, 614L/v8, 3300, G2v1, 834B (v1 &2) all brick for sure.

Anyone know if the Asus WL-500W will brick or run it? I know that the NEWD wireless drivers can be flaky for it if there are so many other wireless signals around, so I'm hoping that this new driver will fix it. Kinda afraid to try it though.........I might build up the courage, but if someone else has tried it and failed, please let me know.
I have used NEWD2 on my WRT610N CFE.16, but the download speed during a test showed a > 25% decrease in throughput. Now back to NEWD... _________________ 2x Asus RT-N66U - DD-WRT v24-sp2 (05/12/13) big - build 21625

I have been running this build on my WRT300N v1.1 for a few weeks. I found that every 4 days or so my blackberry and laptop cannot connect wirelessly. Scanning doesn't see the network unless you are standing right beside it and then signal is very very week.
Simply going into the UI and changing the channel (ie. 6 to 10) save and apply, boom, back to normal.
Anyone else seen this? _________________ 1xWRT300N v1.1

one quick question about NEWD-2:
when you are scanning networks in site survey - have you noise readed for all networks as "-92" , or I only one geting this with HP-G54 + NEWD-2 ?
