I meant how they know me. If I call myself a HO to family and friends, they'll think I sleep around. LMAO!!! _________________

So maybe you *do* sleep around with other routers?
I did feel guilty when I bought my Atheros based WRT160NL - hangs head in shame.... _________________

Wow! I've never met anyone with more that 3 active routers in their home
....my wife was getting on my case about taking up all the electrical outlets for the power bricks....
redhawk
Maybe I should have donated my heavy-gauge industrial 12-tap extension cord, too? I'll never regret purchasing that thing for about $30 at Home Depot several years ago. It plugs into a single outlet and all the wall-warts (power bricks) in my office plug into it. _________________ 3x Netgear WNDR3300 - Eko V24 sp2 SVN 11793 std-nokaid-nohotspot-nostor
1x Asus RT-N16 - re-capped after two years
I only have 6 so far (but to be fair i don't need any more at the moment) ~
3x Buffalo WHR-G54S's (2 are doing WDS at folks', the other is hanging off a cable modem at kids') - these are now sooo expensive on Ebay, i bought the first 2 new for something like £17 delivered.
3x Linksys ~ WRT54GS v6 & WRT54G v2 & WRT54G v5 (The first 2 are here hanging off an O2 'wireless Box II', the Linksys are in Repeater mode, the v5 was for extra range in the garden but the range isn't actually too bad so it's not plugged in all the time).
..all on my beloved v23 sp2 which has done me proud for almost 2years now _________________ 2 node (v23 sp2) WDS network over WPA2/AES comprising 2x Buffalo WHR-G54S's.

Very "Un-HO" Dude.....
What's 'need' got to do with anything?

I knew i shouldn't have used the word 'need', i left myself open to that one
I thought if i posted, i might psychologically convince myself to go check out Ebay for any more sexy routers.. but i keep putting up too good a fight. _________________ 2 node (v23 sp2) WDS network over WPA2/AES comprising 2x Buffalo WHR-G54S's.

You're "router-whipped" There is a difference from being a HO!
redhawk _________________ I currently test dd-wrt on Asus, Buffalo, Linksys, and Netgear. Too many to list.
Looking for more test units (newer models) for the project...got a brick?...PM me to make a donation. (USA) A donation is not a debricking service....it is a way to "Give back" to the dd-wrt project.
I do NOT provide personal assistance through chat or phone....so please don't ask.
I bought ANOTHER one last night. Buffalo G300N. (Ralink). Gotta see what 384mhz can do, runs dd-wrt and was only 45.00US shipped, on a one day sale at newegg. _________________ SIG:

Possibly instead of the "number" of devices.. We should just add up the "flash" capacity
My tm is equal to four V5's and up
Quick math shows I have 46mb of flash.
In that case I'm doing very well with 82mb of flash!!! _________________
