Hi folks!

For some reason i was looking for a VMWare based x86 Image. The current Version which is acutally available for download is Version 24.

After spending some hours (!) I have now a Ready-4-Go VMWare DD-WRT v24 SP 1 Edition.

1. Create a Box which is configured with default DD-WRT IP address (i.e: 192.168.1.20) an leave it switched on!!! You can use WindowsXP or 2k oder 2k3 or whatever you want.

2. Fire up the VMWare DD-WRT Version. After round about 20 sec. you are able to ping the DD-WRT VMWare Router at IP 192.168.1.1 and you are ready for login.

3. You will get the "Change Router Password" Information Page. Change your password and have fun.

4. Inside this package is also a backup file for the VMWare DD-WRT v24 SP1

- WAN Interface enable with DHCP
- added an NTP Server for time sync
- default Password: letmein

Get the full working VMWare Disk from:
