if I enable eth0, then I cannot access the AP via IP. I tried enabling and disabling the internal bridge between the interfases. It is not possible to access the AP via serial port either because I am getting wird characters. I think eth0 is not good. I purchased two licenses and I have been able to bridge the two APs using only ath0 and ath1, with eth0 disabled.
Sash, I appreciate your help!
Thank you.

there is no eth0 on this device. its named ixp0
disabling the bridge is also not a good idea. enable wan to use one port as wan port and the second as lan.
per default ixp0,ixp1,ath0 and ath1 is bridged to br0 and can be used like that. the default ip is 192.168.1.1
if your both devices are sharing the same ip, you run into troubles for sure and one device is not reachable since they are in conflict with each other. beside this i dont see any problem here _________________ one cigarette costs 2 minutes of your life.
