[Brick_the_FON]

Fonera 2100 über serielle Konsole mit DD-WRT V24SP1 geflasht, hat alles geklappt. Nach dem Reset geht die Kiste aber in einen RedBoot Loop. Keine Ahnung woran das liegen könnte. Vielleicht hilft das hier:

Beim Abarbeiten des Boot Script erscheint folgendes:

Hier kommt nur noch Zeichensalat und dann bootet er neu.

Außerdem: ich bin unsicher ob es notwendig ist in der Anleitung http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/LaFonera_Software_Flashing die Steps 3 und 4 auszuführen - ich habe es nicht getan.

Verblüffende Lösung des Problems: Es lag an der linux.bin. Ich habe die V24SP1[Stable]Build10020 für die Fonera2100 aus der Router-Database verwendet (6,13MB vom 29.02.2009). Und ja, ich habe sie mehrmals heruntergeladen, Übertragungsfehler fällt also aus. Ob diese Version buggy ist oder versehentlich auf eine "falsche" Version gelinkt wurde, kann wohl nur Brainslayer beantworten.
Ich habe mir dann mal die V24preSP2[Beta]Build13064 geladen und damit ging es auf Anhieb.

Nachtrag: Jetzt verstehe ich auch warum nach dem Reset auf der seriellen Konsole nur noch Zeichensalat ausgegeben wird: DD-WRT hat das Ruder übernommen und da ist die Baudrate 115k. Wenn man die Baudrate umschaltet kann man die Ausgabe wieder lesen. Da nach dem Zeichensalat aber unmittelbar der Reboot folgte, dachte ich das ist schon ein Fehler.
