big??

Yes, big.
And I see that you have already found the bug so we can expect it to work in next release.

Used method in peacock thread to load Broadcom Generic VPN build 13525 and Broadcom generic mega on WRT54GS v-2.0 Both had same problem, extremely slow download speeds. Have ATT DSL 6 meg. Re-loaded build 13064 Broadcom generic VPN and all working correctly again. Did not notice any other issues with build 13525, I use open-vpn, UPNP, mac based static IP's, dyndns, and WPA2. Always manually set, never use back-up feature. All other settings are default.

You can run mini build or a small standard build on the 54GL if you change the bootloader.

I'm kinda confused as to what exactly the 2.6 kernel will do for us. Also, I'll be putting this one on my WL-500W in a little while, once I get the chance.

Upgraded to BS13525 mega on my WRT350Nv1 from BS12966 mega and am also having big problems with speed. I'm getting lots of timeouts when surfing and ended up having to reboot the router because even the web interface wasn't responding.

After 3 and a half days of testing so far, everything works well. Only minor issue I have noticed is that UPnP works, but it is not showing what ports are forwarded in the GUI. Otherwise, it all works as expected.

Is that on your WRT600N?
If so, can you please backup your CFE and post it in the CFE collection thread?
The CFE I am investigating now should not be able to run NEWD-2 or K26 but you may have a more recent version.

I can confirm the same problem with BS 13525, had BS 12874 and everything worked correctly, after flashing 13525 download speed is extremely slow and I had to restart the router a few times, gonna try BS 13064.

Both eko and bs new firmwares has proven to be unstable when it comes to wds.

Crashing out after a few hours and requiring a reboot.

since this build is still the "recommended", i was thinking of installing the BS 13525 dd-wrt.v24_mini_wrt600n.bin on my wrt600n v1.1. any beef with that?

i am currently using the (12/18/09) mini (SVN revision 13491M NEWD-2 Eko) (snow release) and QoS is not working (not matching connections). so i am after working QoS. anyone using QoS and can report success or failure with this build? thanks
