Hi! I do not have success in do the Dir-600 work in the client mode. When I do site survey it says that did join with the network chosen. It records the name of the network but it does not record the channel. And like this it does not connect.

In the AP mode it works very well.

When I select "client bridge" it does not hability the selection of channels. But it go to the channel of the AP.
And this it is not doing. It stayed always in the channel 1. It record the SSID of the network but does not record the channel
I found this information about the Dir-600. They are two versions. Atheros Soc and Ralink Soc. The Ralink Soc does not accept "client bridge", but it accepts "repeater bridge". I am going try to do the configuration as "repeater bridge"

You may select your channel under Wireless->basic settings.

I found getting RB to work a bit mroe involved than plain client mode, so my suggestion is to have client mode work first. But YMMV

But in client mode it does not hability the selection of channel. The channel is determined by the Access Point.
Or not?

Have you actually managed to set the DIR-600 to Client Bridge? I do not have this choice in my list.

Yes, I have client bridge. I use to last version that is in the site. My problem was when I did site survey. It recorded the name of the network but did not record the channel. But today I found the correct way. Does not it give for use the site survey.
You first select in wireless setup, AP mode and writes the name of the network and chooses the channel of the network.
After you have saved of configuration in AP mode, with name of the network and correct channel, you selects Client in this same brim and saved once again

And never does "apply settings" but "save". Alone in the end of the configuration is that is going to click you in "apply settings".
And never, never uses "site survey" for select a network. Alone it uses for research networks. If send you do "join" it is not going to record the channel and bungles the configuration. I discovery by chance, quizzing exhaustively the onfigurations.

Now my dir-600 with dd-wrt are working very well in the client mode.

I have build v24 preSP2 (Build13064) installed and I and apparently many more people haven't got client bridge in the drop down list. What we do have is two buttons that says Bridged and something else. Is this what you use?

I select client mode and soon down mark unbridged or bridged. If I mark bridged it goes to behave like client bridge. If I mark unbridged, it is going to open a space for I put the ip of the server.
