I installed DD-WRT on a RevD Actiontec router and set it up as a secondary switch on my network. I have followed the wiki instructions for assigning the WAN port to the switch, but I still cannot use the WAN port on my LAN. Does "Assign WAN port to switch" work on this router?

Here's how I set the router up:

In Setup - Basic Setup
    WAN connection type is Disabled
Assign WAN port to switch is Checked (ticked)
    DHCP Server is Disabled

In Setup - Advanced Routine
    Operating Mode is Router

In Setup - Networking
WAN Port Assignment is ixp1 (as documented in the wiki)

I can think of two possibilities for why this doesn't work: 1) The "Assign WAN port to switch" setting doesn't work at all on this router; or 2) the WAN port assignment of ixp1 is interfering with assigning the WAN port to the switch. Any thoughts?
