dir-300(клиент) + dsl-2640 = Всё-таки как???

пишу на форумах и нигде не могут дать ответ, помогите плз.
Нужно соединить прошитый dir-300, на котором должен быть интернет по PPPoе с dsl-2640 по wi-fi. Завязалось всё в режиме dir-300 - клиент, dsl-2640 - точка доступа. Но, нет пинга. Куда копать дальше?

маршрутизация?
"завязалось" = 2 уровень OSI, а пинги по третьему ходят. Вами ни слова не рассказано о топологии Вашей же сети
