Is this DD-WRT compatible. It is listed under the devices saying it is, but I cant find the software listed in the database.

check on the 941ND thread. If im not wrong its already supported by BS. But on some hardware version only. im not really sure.

I think you miss our point. We knew that 841 is already supported, but we can't find the dowload link of the supported DD-WRT version that listed on the DD-WRT wiki

Right, but how do i update it, I see that there are two files. Do I need to do the factory-to-ddwrt.bin file first or is there a set of steps somewhere?

Factory-to-ddwrt.bin first, then the second one next.

I have v5.4. I just need to wait for new fw for this version? Or how can i help to push this new fw development?

You could start with telling the FCC ID number from the routers label.
