Hi There !

I'm having a little problem with my wrt54g v5 with dd-wrt v23sp2. When i downloaded something with utorrent it goes perfectly, but after the download(s), my internet hangs, pinging to the router gives a lot of time-out's and sometimes a respons.

when i check my status (which goes VERY slow btw), i can see a big load of ip connections, altough my utorrent is shut down.

How can i get this amount of ip connections down ? (without resetting the router please Wink)

I looked for it, but anything related to utorrent en this router had to do with the original linksys firmware or older firmware of dd-wrt

It's normal for a torrent to get hundreds of users or connections. Increase the number of ports.

Okay, when i started a download now, and i stopped it then by shutting down the client. after a while my amount of connections started dropping down.

Still another little question which came up just: why does my active ip connections go up every time i refresh very fast ?

So, for example, i wanted to see them dropping instantly, so hit F5 a couple of times, with an interval of 1-3 seconds.

Because that opens another TCP connection to the router Wink
